  they certainly do, and this is forever being thrown in my face.

  however, when jesus said his desciples would have love amongst themselves, surely he didnt mean it would just be amongst themselves?

  surely it would expand further than that?

  My mom was born in 1914. She began studying in the mid-forties and she's still at it. What else was there back in her days? My mom would have been a high ranking commander in the military and a strict one at that!

  Do you feel you have an accurate understanding of the bible?

  compared to many other people, including those who attend church regularly, i would say that many witnesses have a pretty good understanding of the bible.

  meaning, they can get around the bible fairly well.. the history of the bible is pretty standard, though now we know that the teachings and viewpoints of the wts were wrong.. so, all in all, do you think you know more about the bible than most others out there?

  can you distinguish the real bible accounts compared to the teachings of the watchtower?

  Viv, my wife's aunt (not witnesses) was buried a few days ago, and the youngest son inherited the house. In the will, it states that the daughter must leave the house in 30 days! This son is so iiresponsible it's pathetic. This young man will be living alone while he throws his his sister out on the street. Stories of this nature never cease to end. I'm glad to hear that your friend made your day.
